Strange Supertitions

personally i dont believe in many superstitions, just only believe in broken mirrors and opening umbrellas indoors can bring bad luck (i only believe the half of these).

I have to tell you that my family dosen't belive in this stuff but i think that some of the most importants superstitions that we now are:
Friday 13th are day of bad luck and never pass salt hand to hand because you're pass bad luck

Opinion about the debate

I really liked the debate because I had never do something like this before. I fell a little scary when we started talking, I thought that I will forgot EVERYTHING! But with the pass of the opinios I take confidence and then I really feel more comfortable :D.

Its a very interesting way to know what other people think, and If maybe you practice, you will be a PERFECT opiner hahahahaha.

Family Superstitions

• My grandmother believe that If a spoon was over the table and everyone have one yet, someone member of the family was hungry.
• If you give money, you have to give it with the right hand and If you receive money you have to do it with your left hand.
• If you pass the salt hand to hand you are passing bad luck to the other!
• If you let the sugar fall down on the table, you have to throw it in water.
• If you put the money on the floor you are calling the poor.
• If there is a cricket outside the house, money will come.
• If a pair of lovebirds is outside the house, we have good days.

Hey Whatzup guys! these are some of my Family Superstitions:

• Friday thirteen is an unlucky day.
• Garlic protects from evil spirits.
• Our fate is written in the stars.
• Clothes worn inside out will bring good luck.
• If you blow out all the candles on your birthday cake with the first breath you'll get whatever you wish for.
• Warm hands, cold heart.
• A cat will try to make the breath from a baby.
• If you see an spider in the middle of a room you could have much money.

well... I was FOR superstitions and i think they're real because some of them have been proved by people who has lived them. For example in some hotels or buildings it isn't the number 13th because it gives bad luck.

Remember what happened with Apolo 13, it started its flight at 13:13 and all of the passengers died. It is not a coincidence because like i mentioned it is UNLUCKY.

why people always think superstitions are only for bad things? well what about this : do u know that Rainbows are among the many good luck charms because they have a pot of gold at the end of them and also do u know that turtles are another great symbol of good luck and fortune according to the beliefs of Feng Shui. They are known to provide protection to the home and enhances the vibe of abundance so that prove that not every superstition is bad

Example of superstition

It's bad luck to spill salt, step on a crack, break a mirror, have a black cat cross your path, walk under a ladder. Somebody will die if a bird flies into your house. If you say certain words, whatever you're talking about will be a jinx and the opposite will happen. You can't win unless you wear your lucky shirt, eat your lucky meal, carry your lucky charm, perform your lucky ritual.

Superstition: The number 13th

I don´t agree with the idea that number 13th is unlucky,
because i was born on the 13th on a Friday and it´s my
lucky number, I´m not afraid of the Friday 13th. I´m
only afraid of the year 2012 because of the World´s END.

I believe in superstitions so I search about "APOLLO 13"
check this information and decide if you believe or not :

Apollo 13 was the seventh manned mission in the american apollo space

program and the third intendedto land in the moon. The craft was launched

on April 11, 1970 at 13:13.

The landing was aborted after an oxygen tank exploded exploded two days later,

I believed that 13 is a bad luck number.

My opinion about the superstitions is that they are false, because the scientists haven´t checked the existence of them.
They are just people´s imagination.

I´m against about the superstitions, because them stop your liberty, your are always thinking that something wrong going to happen.
Some superstitions are only legends, but other are absurds, they are only in your imagination and many times are only coincidenses.
